On Wednesday in Prague we spent the day visiting the Castle District.

There are quite a few bridges crossing the Vltava river in Prague. They look brilliant when they are lined up like in the pic above

There are a lot of really cool doors in prague, something we don’t do that well anymore in the western world crunched by credit issues. We have been really impressed with lots of doors. This is a door of an embassy

The Prague castle marching band, possibly changing the guard.

St Vitus’ cathedral, impressive and the most imposing building in the prague castle complex

Some crazy little green statue in the crypt of St Vitus

Some Saints bones in the Cathedral, the genuine issue

Flying pig, a great little sign

Kafkas house in the castle area, he wrote a book here, can’t remember which one, actually i don’t know any of them, does that make me an ignorant, is that even a word?

Inside the cathedral, sorry to be skeptical but just imagine how many peasants suffered for the glory of this big building

Beautiful castle gardens

Beauitiful!
