Mum would be proud

I made stewed apple and rhubarb this week just like my wonderful Mum (Jan) makes.

Speaking of our families....we get to see them in 24 days - not that we’re counting!

He made us these beautiful photo book albums for each of our holidays. They are awesome.

I wanted to show you my Christmas present just because they are so beautiful!

I had these when I was a kid in Die Schweiz.

Frost

It has been very, very cold for the past week so that every morning we have woken up to a thick layer of frost on our windscreens which we have to scrape off.

On Saturday the frost was extreme and stayed around all day covering everything in a snow-like whiteness. It was so beautiful that we braved the cold and went out to take some photos.

On Saturday night we had the gorgeous Liv and Magnus over for dinner. We haven’t seen them since our wedding and it was great to see them again and hang out like old times.

Of course, after dinner Ben gave them some self-defence lessons.....

Bring on 2009!

New Years Eve was spent with Emma, Danny and Kylie at our house in Guildford. We had a fantastic night and really enjoyed having Dan and Em staying with us for a few nights.

Obviously we had a little bit to eat and drink....I’ll let the photos do the rest of the talking.

By the way...I was the New Years Day poker champion (sorry Benny!)
