The New Car

About a month ago we purchased a new car. Our First UK car was a fiesty Peugeot 306 XSI and it was cheap and not particularly reliable (very fast though). We have had to drive to a few far away jobs like Newcastle and Cornwall so we decided we needed something that would only stop when the ignition was switched off.

We found a nice 2002 Nissan Almera (pulsar in Australia) Hatchback with only 33000 miles on it. It was a good price and is immaculate except for one scratch. It is a bit of a slow grandma car but it should do us just fine. Corinne has already driven it about 700 miles to Newcastle and back and in 3 weeks we are taking it on the Ferry to Normandy for a 3 day weekend.
